Coastal Bridal Session, Muir Beach

I've been dying to share the amazing film scans that came back from this shoot! Our vision was to create a romantic, unconventional bridal shoot somewhere along the Northern California coastline. With the help of Olivia Richards, photographer and close friend, we instantly fell in love with the beauty and rocky shores of Muir Beach. This hidden gem, just a short drive north of San Francisco, helped further steer our creative direction.

Our main focus was to layer as many textures as possible- we LOVE textures! The silk pieces by Natalie Deayala were feminine and modern on their own, so to contrast we paired props like the woven jute rug and fringe pillow. We incorporated delicate jewelry by Abacus Row and Free People accessories to compliment the scenery, but not take away from the gorgeous muse and model. Floral colors were inspired by deep purples, soft peaches, and tons of greenery, a look you don't typically see among brides :) Colina Terui was our floral magic maker and nailed it perfectly with the wild, romantic bouquet. With the collaboration of many local San Francisco designers, this coastal bridal shoot truly came to life and we couldn't be happier!
